My role

Postlick needed a custom visual identity for their marketing materials. They had vast library of digital resources and a prolific team of content writers, however they lacked the graphic support to be able to promote their content or their product effectively. I created a custom illustration style, motion style and photo treatment guide, as well as a library of animated and static graphics that could be used across collateral, social media, presentations etc. In addition, I created a guide for creating future graphics and styling photography.

Brand Expansion

Context

Before I started working with Postclick, they were using stock-photography with black-backgrounds to achieve a similarity with their visuals. I worked with the head of marketing and their in-house graphic designers to create a method for creating minimalist illustrations a more limited color palette that enhanced the sophistication and brand consistency of their graphics.

Background

The Results

I chose a palette that could be used to create a neon rainbow gradient against the a dark background. The marketing copywriters named the colors.

Color Palette

I worked with the marketing team to create and document a set of visual content guidelines and easy-to-follow instructions for how to create illustrations for future campaigns.

Illustration Guide

Postclick uses photography extensively in their branding and marketing. I created a library of simple vector graphics and embellishments that could be collaged with photography to make it more relevant and in-brand. I also developed several templates for easy versioning of display and social ads.
